We are a social-impact trust dedicated to capacity building, school-based mental health awareness, and integrated research for sustainable community development.
AIMCMR Trust, in collaboration with Revival Wellness Society, successfully implemented a series of workshops in Adarsha Vidyalayas of Assam under the Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan.
Each workshop consisted of two one-hour interactive sessions covering critical topics for student well-being:
Comprehensive education on tobacco, alcohol, and inhalants, focused on understanding peer pressure, debunking myths, and building effective refusal skills.
Interactive discussions on stress management, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and emotional wellbeing, encouraging positive help-seeking behaviors.
The sessions were designed to be highly interactive and age-appropriate, conducted by trained resource persons and counsellors.
We witnessed active student participation and received positive feedback from school authorities, highlighting the need for such preventive education.

AIMCMR (Assam Institute of Mass Communication and Media Research), running since 2022, is a registered public charitable trust based in Guwahati, Assam.
Our journey began as a mass communication institute focused on educating the next generation of journalist and mass media leaders. Recognizing the deeper needs of our community, we evolved into a broader trust to address systemic challenges such as mental well-being in schools, substance abuse prevention, and community leadership.
We believe in a scientific, compassionate, and evidence-based approach to social work, collaborating with schools, NGOs, and local institutions to create lasting impact.
To integrate mentorship, awareness, and research into a unified framework that empowers individuals and strengthens community bonds.
We conduct interactive sessions in schools to educate students about mental health hygiene and the dangers of substance abuse.
We organize educational sessions and practical drives to teach effective waste segregation, recycling, and the importance of environmental conservation.
Direct engagement with marginalized communities to identify needs and link them with available resources and mentorship.
Documenting case studies and conducting surveys to understand the evolving social landscape of the region.
From 2022 to 2025, the Trust successfully ran the Assam Institute of Mass Communication and Media Research.
This academic institute offered full-time degrees and diploma courses in Mass Communication and Journalism, nurturing aspiring media professionals.
